Contraindications
Wondering if you are a candidate for semi-permanent brows or eyeliner? Read the following contraindications to determine your eligibility.

It is the client's responsibility to go over the following information (this is emailed at the time of booking) to ensure they are eligible. Clients deemed ineligible based on a listed contraindication post-booking will have their deposit refunded immediately.
There are few but very important conditions that would make a candidate ineligible for semi-permanent makeup procedures. If any of the below pertain to you, contact me immediately and we can discuss options. If all other options are exhausted, your appointment will be cancelled and deposit will be refunded immediately.

Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding

Clients with an active skin disease or infection (open wounds, sores, etc.)

Clients with bloodborne pathogens (Hepatitis B/C, HIV)

Clients with heart conditions

Clients who are currently on Accutane or Retin-A (tretinoin) treatments*

Clients who are prone to excessive scarring conditions (keloids, hypertrophic scarring)**

Clients who are currently on chemotherapy

Clients who are allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine or tetracaine***

Clients who are insulin-dependent diabetics**

Clients who have gotten a deep tan or chemical peel within 2 weeks of appointment****

* Clients must stop using Accutane and Retin-A (tretinoin) treatments for at least 12 months prior to appointment booking
** This pertains to clients requested microblading or combination brows only - Ombre powder brows alone is recommended
*** Zero anaesthetic use is available at the client's discretion
**** Clients must wait at least 2 weeks post tanning/chemical peel to book
